The Carousel slide projector was available in the USA from 1961.
A slide projector is a machine that can be used to view slide images. Slides are the images on a special film from an analogue camera. The images on the film have been cut out and inserted into plastic frames. Then they are slide pictures. In 1963, the company Kodak Germany asked the gugelot-institut: Can you improve the Carousel slide projector? The result was the Carousel S. The design of the Carousel S is very simple and consists of just a few shapes. The design fits perfectly to the function of the device.
