Our Museum Library

Our special library is located in the Pinakothek der Moderne building and can be accessed via the entrance on Türkenstrasse. It contains around 21,000 media sources on the history of applied art and design as well as on the relevant areas of the museum’s collection. These include monographs, reference works, catalogues, and journals. Click here for the online catalog.

The library is unfortunately not open to the public and the media are not available to borrow. If you are carrying out research, however, you are welcome to arrange an appointment to visit us on site. To do so, please email us giving your name, research project and any literature you require at: bibliothek@die-neue-sammlung.de
