About the Exhibition

To mark the eightieth birthday of Hans Hillmann, Die Neue Sammlung is showing a selection of his oeuvre in cooperation with the Klingspor Museum Offenbach.

Hans Hillmann is one of the most prominent graphic designers in Germany. His film posters from the 1950s to the 1970s are still captivating today with their unmistakable style of graphic condensation and their sophisticated visualization of cinematic content and principles.
