The Italian Gabriele Basilico (born in 1944 in Milan)
is regarded as one of the photographers of the present
in the area between documentary and conceptual approach.
His subjects are landscapes, such as architectural
Series on prefabricated buildings in East Berlin and industrial areas
in northern Italy, high-rise buildings in San Francisco and ruins in Beirut.
End of the 80s were the product photographs for the
Italian company Driade.
